🇳🇱 Kerst! De afgelopen jaren werd ik teruggeworpen op de echte betekenis van kerst. Het was zo duister om me heen, ik kon nergens meer van genieten. Maar wat bleef bestaan was dat God Zijn zoon naar deze donkere aarde had gestuurd! Daarom is dit een ultiem kerstlied voor mij en laat ik je hiermee mijn 1e kerstkaart van 2021 zien. Link in bio!

🇳🇱 Team los papier of team schetsboeken? Ik had eerst overal losse tekeningen liggen. Maar sinds ik deze schetsboeken in de shop verkoop ben ik veel meer in schetsboeken gaan werken. Het voordeel: je kunt veel meer je proces zien! En minder 'rommelige' planken en lades!🤔😉 Op dit moment heb ik deze 3 van @royaltalensbenelux in gebruik! Mijn favoriete kleuren😍
🇬🇧 Team loose paper or team sketchbooks? I used to have loose drawings everywhere. But since I've been selling these sketchbooks in the shop, I've started working a lot more in sketchbooks. 🇳🇱 Achter de wolken...Er kunnen veel wolken zijn in je leven. Op elk gebied: je gezondheid, gemis van een dierbare, eenzaamheid, verlies van je baan, kinderloosheid etc...allemaal wolken. Kinga Ban schreef er een prachtig lied over: 'Een boog in de wolken als teken van trouw, schijnt boven jouw leven zegt: Ik ben bij jou!' Als je geen licht meer kunt ervaren, weet dan dat er regen èn zon nodig zijn voor een regenboog! En dat God jou ziet! Hij is bij jou en Hij is trouw als mensen dat niet kunnen. Ik hoop dat jij dat ook mag ervaren!
🇬🇧 Behind the clouds...There can be many clouds in your life. In every area: your health, loss of a loved one, loneliness, loss of your job, childlessness etc ... all clouds. Kinga Ban wrote a beautiful song about it: 'A bow in the clouds as a sign of fidelity, shines above your life says: I am with you!' If you can no longer experience light, know that it takes rain and sun for a rainbow! And that God sees you! He is with you and He is faithful when people cannot. 🇳🇱 Op afstand - Het is deze week de week van #ikbenopen . De post van gisteren had er al mee te maken (heel veel liefde voor al jullie reacties🥰) Door mijn mentale ziektes leef ik vaak geïsoleerd omdat ik vaak overprikkeld ben of mensen niet wil belasten met mijn sores en somberheid, maar ook doordat mensen er vaak niet naar durven vragen. Wil je een tip? Vraag gewoon eens: hoe gaat het met je? En wacht niet op het antwoord: goed. En vraag eens door: hoe staat het met je depressie/angststoornis/ ...ziekte? Of vraag: wat kan ik voor je betekenen? En: luister dan echt, ook tussen de regels door!

Yesterday's post already had to do with it (lots of love for all your comments ) Because of my mental illnesses I often live isolated because I am often overstimulated or don't want to burden people with my worries and gloom, but also because people often don't dare ask. Do you want a tip? Just ask: how are you? And don't wait for the answer: good. And ask: how is your depression / anxiety disorder / ... illness? Or ask: what can I do for you? And: really listen, also between the lines!

🇳🇱 Pressure/ druk - dat is het woord voor @inktober_2021 vandaag. En dit beeld riep het bij me op. De druk van de (vooral) christelijke omgeving die depressie als zwakte ziet en niet als ziekte. Sinds ik deze druk heb los gelaten het het mag zien als een ziekte sta ik vrijer in het leven, voor een ziekte mag je medicatie slikken, mag je moe zijn, mag je in behandeling gaan als het weer een periode niet gaat. Laat je nooit aanpraten dat depressie een zwakte is, of dat je zelf de deur open zet voor depressie. Dat is niet zo! Het is een ziekte! Tegen iemand met kanker wordt ook niet gezegd: je bent zwak en zet zelf de deur open voor je ziekte. Je bent juist sterkt als je zegt: ik heb een depressie en ik ga ervoor in behandeling en ik accepteer dat ik ziek ben. Nu de rest van de omgeving nog...
🇬🇧 Pressure - that's the word for #inktober today. And this image evoked it in me. The pressure of the (mainly) Christian environment that sees depression as a weakness and not as a disease. Since I let go of this pressure, I can see it as a disease, I am more free in life, you can take medication for a disease, you can be tired, you can go to treatment if it doesn't go again for a while. Never let yourself be told that depression is a weakness, or that you open the door to depression yourself. That is not true! It's a disease! Nor is it said to someone with cancer: you are weak and open the door to your illness yourself. On the contrary, you are stronger when you say: I have depression and I am going into treatment for it and I accept that I am sick. Now the rest of the area...

Had je mijn nieuwe profielfoto al gespot? Ik stapt

Had je mijn nieuwe profielfoto al gespot? Ik stapte dus uit mijn comfortzone en liet me door @clickingood_ op de foto zetten! Waarom? Omdat ik merkte dat ik klaar was voor een nieuwe start van mijn bedrijf! Ik ging steeds meer richting illustreren in opdracht (in plaats van workshops geven) en op dit moment past het ook beter in mijn leven als mantelzorger en het dealen met een chronische depressie. Illustreren in opdracht: wanneer de inspiratie er is gaan zitten tekenen. En ondertussen verkoop ik uiteraard, naast mijn ontwerpen, nog mijn favoriete en geliefde materialen in de webshop!

Had je mijn nieuwe profielfoto al gespot? Ik stapt

Had je mijn nieuwe profielfoto al gespot? Ik stapte dus uit mijn comfortzone en liet me door @clickingood_ op de foto zetten! Waarom? Omdat ik merkte dat ik klaar was voor een nieuwe start van mijn bedrijf! Ik ging steeds meer richting illustreren in opdracht (in plaats van workshops geven) en op dit moment past het ook beter in mijn leven als mantelzorger en het dealen met een chronische depressie. Illustreren in opdracht: wanneer de inspiratie er is gaan zitten tekenen. En ondertussen verkoop ik uiteraard, naast mijn ontwerpen, nog mijn favoriete en geliefde materialen in de webshop!
